These 8 Thermoses Are Guaranteed To Keep Your Food And Beverages At The Perfect Temperature

When I was in elementary school, I hated thermos lunches. I mean, my thermos was adorable and matched my lunch bag and all, but it almost always leaked and I was lucky to be able to enjoy my food at room temperature once lunchtime rolled around. Fast forward a couple of decades, and  it seems like they’ve come a very long way.

Whether you’re looking for something to keep your coffee warm while you’re at the office or you need something a little bigger to keep your lunch piping hot until whenever you have the time to get to it, there’s something on this list for you.

Thermos Work Series –  $40 (40 Ounce)

Thermos literally owns the name when it comes to good quality, highly durable thermoses so I figured we should just get the one everyone’s going to immediately assume out of the way first. This Work Series Thermos is known for its ability to handle even the toughest job site conditions and it can apparently keep food and beverages at optimal temperature for up to 24 hours!

Unless you’re going camping or planning to use it on a job site though, the Stainless King model is probably more than enough for you.

Zojirushi Stainless Bottle – $40 (68 Ounce)

Zojirushi is fairly well known for their insulated water bottles (seriously, if you haven’t tried one you should definitely add it to your wish list), and their larger reservoirs function at an equally impeccable level. This particular thermos is made with double wall thermal insulation, features a handy carrying strap, and even has a wider mouth so that you can clean it more easily. If you spend a lot of time away from home and you’d like to be able to take all the coffee or water you’ll need while you’re out with you, this might just be the perfect thermos for you. Get it here.

Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle – $20 (1.1 Quart)

Stanley is another iconic thermos name, and they’re very much still ranking highly in the space as well. Because of the vacuum insulation that this thermos boasts, it can reportedly keep your drinks hot or cold for 24 hours. If that’s still not enough for you, just ice your cold drinks before you head out so that they’ll stay cold for 120 hours instead. The lid also happens to be the perfect size to hold a cup of coffee.

They come in a wide range of colors and a couple of different sizes, but one of the biggest bonuses to owning a Stanley thermos is that they come with a lifetime guarantee. If that doesn’t sell it for you, I’m not sure what will. Check it out here.

Yeti Rambler – $52 (64 Ounce)

One of the most annoying things about insulated bottles is that it’s nearly impossible to clean the inside of them properly. Yeti understands that this is a problem, so they’ve come up with a solution – The wide mouth opening on this bottle not only makes it easier to clean, but it also happens to make pouring things easier as well. It might be a little pricier than some of the other items on this list, but the convenience is well worth it (these bottles are also able to deal with even the harshest conditions which makes them perfect for anyone who has to work outside). Hydro Flask Wide Mouth – $25+ (Various Sizes)

I have the smallest version of one of these, and it’s my favorite personal drink carrier to date (and let me tell you, I’ve tried a ton of them over the years). Not only is it lightweight and super durable, but it also keeps coffee as hot as freshly poured for an entire day (probably longer, but that’s not a theory I’ve ever had to test). I love this thing in the summer because I can fill it with water before heading out for the day and it will stay ice cold for as long as I need. The price is very reasonable and I can’t think of any reason someone wouldn’t want one of these (there’s even different lids!) Get it here.

MiiR Wide Mouth – $45 (42 Ounce)

If you want to be able to take enough liquid with you to last you the entire day, this is a perfect thermos for the job. It features double wall insulation, a powder coating that makes the container feel nice when you’re holding it, and it can keep cold drinks cold for more than 24 hours. It also has a wide mouth on it which makes cleaning it out after it’s had coffee sitting in it all day a breeze. Check it out here.

L.L. Bean Stainless-Steel Vacuum Bottle – $35 (24 Ounce)

If everyone you work with also happens to carry a thermos, you might want to go the extra mile to have yours engraved with your name on it. L.L. Bean gives you the option to do just that! Whether you get your name, a funny or motivational saying, or your favorite song lyrics is up to you – The point is that you can. It’s not the biggest thermos, but it’s more than enough for the average office worker. Click here to get one and then let us know what you had engraved on it.

Thermos Stainless King Food Jar – $25 (24 Ounce)

You can, of course, use any type of thermos you like to take your hot or cold lunches in, but if thermos lunches are your thing you might want to consider using something that’s a little more geared toward just that. Enter the Stainless Kind – This thermos promises to keep hot things hot for 14 hours and cold things cold for more than 24, which is more than enough time for just about everyone. It’s also made by the most well known brand in the thermos industry, so you know you’re getting quality. Check out the options by clicking here.
